	Rebecca Ekstrand creates sculpture that transforms ordinary spaces into an atmosphere that resonates in a positive way with the environment and the people that use it. Rebecca’s approach to any public sculpture is to explore materials, concepts, and manner of form, while providing responsible design solutions. Rebecca’s art in architecture are site sensitive and accurately reflect the clients needs while working within determined time frames and fixed budgets. As an Iowa artist, Rebecca Ekstrand has been commissioned by both public institutions and private corporations. Rebecca Ekstrand has over twenty-five years of experience in site-specific, public sculpture. Rebecca is committed to providing responsible engaging solutions regarding public art. Rebecca has worked on comprehensive building projects that include art as an integral part of the architecture. Rebecca has incorporated terra cotta tiles, terrazzo floors, wrought iron railings and integrated lighting systems as part of a comprehensive aesthetic to a structure site.
